Thomas Alken has designed the 7-9-13 modular sofa with this tradition in mind. It exemplifies the clean, minimalist Nordic look that goes back to the golden age of Danish furniture design. But other functions have been added, because people use sofas quite differently today. We eat, sleep and relax on the sofa, and all these needs are met by 7-9-13’s small details. Nowadays we expect a designer sofa to be comfortable to sit in. This is why we’ve focused on comfort and giving a more pleasant reclining experience compared to many of the well-known sofas.
